Is it best to book early?
Booking early is your best assurance of obtaining the arrangements and cabin
of your choice. It is never too early to begin planning.
Are there discounts for early booking?
By booking your cruise with us in advance you could make huge savings on
the price you pay - please check with our dedicated team at time of booking.
When do I receive my tickets?
Your holiday tickets and travel information are usually dispatched 7 - 14
days prior to travel.
What is included?
Cruise prices are per person, based on double occupancy. They include your
accommodation, meals and entertainment onboard. All overseas transfers between
the airport, hotels and ships pier are included, as are all port and airport
taxes.
What's not included?
UK transfers to airport, travel insurance, optional tours at each port of
call, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes, purchases at the ships shops, hair
and beauty treatments, telephone calls, laundry service, vaccinations and
visa costs. (Subject to restrictions, please check with our team of experts)
Will you be able to help me, as I have special
dietary needs?
No problem. We will be happy to try to meet special dietary needs. Please
give us details at time of booking or as soon after.
What time do I dine?
Every ship offers set dining times, which can be obtained from our team,
however alternative restaurants offering meals at any time of day are also
available onboard.
In addition to this, room service is also available 24 hours a day offering
a good choice of cuisine.
Do cruise lines cater for diabetics?
Yes. However, Insulin for diabetics must be kept locked in a fridge onboard,
if a cabin does not have a fridge. This is usually taken care of by the
night steward.
Is there a doctor onboard?
There are a doctor and a nurse onboard all ships. Customary charges are
made for all service.
What if I have a medical or physical disability?
Wherever possible special arrangements will be made. Most ships have adapted
cabins designed for disabled passengers. Any person with a medical or physical
problem that requires special attention must inform us at time of booking.
For certain conditions the cruise line may request affirmation & liability
forms.
Wheelchairs must be provided by the guest.
How many formal evenings are held on a cruise?
As a guideline there are usually two formal evenings per week.
Do I have to wear a suit on formal nights?
Yes, you will need to wear a suit for formal nights.
How much luggage can I bring with me?
On cruises to and from a UK port, as much as you like. On fly cruises restrictions
vary according to airline, but you can bring at least 20 kilograms.
Do I need insurance?
Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory and is available from Cotswold
Cruise Club or the cruise line at time of booking. Any alternative insurance
arrangements must be detailed in booking form provided by Cotswold Cruise
Club.
Do I need a passport or visa?
All British or Irish citizens must be in possession of a full 10 year passport valid for at least 6 months after your return date to the UK. If in doubt please contact your local passport office for guidance. Non British passport holders should contact the relevant Embassy for up to date information.
Visa requirements can change at any time and therefore it is advisable to contact the relevant Embassy or professionally qualified source. Please note that it is your own responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa for your journey.
